Invest in one of the last three remaining land parcels from

North Carolina’s original Crowell Gold Mining Company tract

LAND PARCEL A 27 acres in Stanly County, near Bethel Chapel, with hundreds of feet of paved state road frontage, located between New London and Badin, North Carolina.

This picturesque rolling land is situated on a portion of the original 1800's Crowell Gold Mining Company properties. These lands are historically significant because their gold mining activities supported currency production at The United States Mint in Charlotte during the mid-1800's. The original Crowell Gold Mine and its operations headquarters were on the adjoining hilltop. Thousands of ounces of gold were obtained from these and nearby lands prior to the Civil War, and the area’s land values have been almost entirely ignored and abandoned ever since.

Civil War History abounds in this area and respected Historians have suggested that it may be near or at this site where the long sought-after Confederate Archives and bullion disappeared. Documents exist that support the fact that the land owner in 1865 buried or hid thousands of Confederate documents (and possibly the missing gold and silver bullion) researchers have been seeking for more than a hundred years. Land owner George Washington Crowell was considered a true Confederate loyalist at that time and his mine tunnels were high and dry and may have provided the perfect hideaway. Those Lost Treasures have never been found, yet no one has searched this 27-acre parcel for any of the missing valuables. And the current land owner has denied permission to search for any of the missing Confederate Archives or Bullion.

The site was re-forested in the mid-1980's and has abundant hardwood resources, as well as several acres of native Loblolly pines that could be harvested today. The land is surrounded by protected forest and agricultural neighbors, and has been conscientiously maintained for decades under the careful supervision of the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission. Meaningful undeveloped precious metals resources do exist and are intact, and there are several areas on the site that verify the active mining from 150 years ago – from miner’s Dahlonega trenches to tailings piles, all evidence of early mining activities. There has been no modern-day scientific research or technologically-advanced exploration performed on any of these sites.

Views to the Southeast reveal the Uwharrie Mountain range and Morrow Mountain state park. The quaint village of New London is only a short distance away and the lakeside town of Badin is nearby, currently undergoing a ‘revitalization’ with support from federally-funded programs. Badin Lake is one of several recreational lakes within the Yadkin river basin that has a developed resort, golf course and luxury residential accommodations a few miles away at Uwharrie Point. The rapidly expanding Charlotte metropolitan area is only 25 miles away.

A recently constructed 12' x 24' workshop with modern utilities is included with this offering.

LAND PARCEL B -- 35 acres of rolling countryside with pristine mature forest and a major contact zone that extends the length of the property. Included is a heavily mineralized hydrothermal quartz vein of unknown depth that contains numerous metallic’s that have been confirmed and verified by fire and spectrographic assay and include visible pyrite with Gold, Mercury, Silver and a variety of other elements and minerals that usually associate with valuable precious metals. A recent USGS satellite map specifically details faults lines and contact zones. Qualified purchasers are invited to carefully inspect and analyze the parcel for themselves.

This parcel also includes several hundred feet of state-maintained paved road frontage and has mature timber ready to harvest throughout. Two major fault lines are revealed with satellite mapping and join a well-defined contact zone that extends diagonally through the site. Surface “grab” samples were submitted for analysis and assay in 1996. Most “contact” area assay results are impressive and indicate Gold as the leading element present. This land mass was originally part of the Crowell Gold Mining operations but was never mined or exploited. When the Civil War broke out, most mining operations ceased in the region and further development on this land never took place. Successful mining activity since then has taken place nearby on adjoining lands.

A professional geological grid sampling program in 1996 established an interesting array of numerous mineral components, including gold and silver, manganese, copper, zinc, chromium and supporting deposits of native iron, mercury and arsenic. Gold was confirmed as an element in 25% of the soil specimens submitted for laboratory analysis. A spring that feeds a small branch on the site has been producing coarse gold for many years in its gravels.

This 35-acre offering is contiguous with “Land Parcel C”, below.

LAND PARCEL C -- 33 acres of mature forest, with adequate state-maintained paved road frontage, that includes a small meandering creek and a rare “Volcanic Chimney”. Fire and Spectrographic assays have established the presence of numerous precious metals deposited in vein formations within the “Chimney” location, which joins a major “contact zone” extending hundreds of yards diagonally through the offered property. Little exploration of the site has taken place – only enough to verify its values, which appear to be quite significant. Fire assays performed several years ago indicate .322 oz/ton Gold, .14 oz/ton Silver with Platinum group traces present. Surface grab samples of weathered quartz veins were submitted for assay and provided impressive results. Most quartz rock specimens from this location exhibit iron-mercury staining. Some quartz specimens are spectacular and contain visible crystalline gold.

This offering is contiguous with Parcel “B” and would combine into a desirable 68-acre tract.

No core drilling has been conducted on any of these three sites. The current owner is not aware of any exploration or prospecting by modern methods on any of these parcels, other than the above-described laboratory analysis. Interested parties should conduct their own professional scientific evaluation of these properties. The owner may permit access for geologic, engineering or pre-feasibility studies to qualified purchasing prospects. A bond and privacy agreement may be required and liability releases must be executed. These properties are heavily secured, regularly patrolled and accessible by permit only.
